As a Dream Team member since 2014, she is one of the most pivotal figures in The Fixx culture, known for her boundless energy, generous spirit, and the kind of work ethic that inspires everyone around her. Her teammates describe her as a powerhouse — always moving, always willing to offer advice, share wisdom, or tell a story that makes the whole room laugh.

Kara Jean always knew she wanted to work for an independently owned salon, and from the moment she met Lauren and Robby, her decision was made, "As soon as I met the owners, The Fixx was my top choice and there was no plan B. I love the team aspect, as well as the importance of education and continued learning!"

Behind the chair, Kara Jean believes every guest deserves to feel completely doted on and taken care of — and you'll leave every visit not just looking beautiful, but with a lesson in hand so you can recreate and maintain your look at home. She lights up doing foils, swapping stories with fellow moms about the beautiful chaos of raising littles, and creating extension transformations so seamless and undetectable that you're the only one who needs to know the secret.

Kara Jean is one of only two Redken Certified Haircolorists in New Braunfels, and has served as a Redken Artist teaching color techniques to salon companies across the region — a testament to both her expertise and her passion for the craft.

Her goal for every guest she sits in her chair is rooted in something she believes deeply, "I believe that when you invest in yourself on the outside, it can truly shift how you feel on the inside."
